The goal of our church is to serve a real Savior together while we strive to live the abundant life our Savior died to give us. Some places fake it, some people just survive it, but our passion is working together to see this real Savior build a real church full of real people abundantly overcoming real life together through Christ.

The mission of Carter Lake Baptist Church is to live out Christ, build up our church family, and reach out to the world in love through the Word of God. LIVE OUT acknowledging God’s Word as the ultimate authority in our lives. Be open, vulnerable and real with others in love. BUILD UP focusing every day on what we can give more than what we got. Actively searching for opportunities to serve and uplift others in need and to make a focused effort to love as Christ loved us. REACH OUT keeping the Word of God in our hearts and minds so we are ready to give an account of what God has done for us. Making God the source of who we are so we lovingly share Him with all He brings to us to reach.
Leadership Team: Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.
Pastor Chris Osborne & Erin Osborne
With over 20 years experience in the ministry, Pastor Chris Osborne uses his down to earth preaching style mixed with unique on point illustrations to bring God’s Word to life in a real, understandable, and practical way. He believes in truly connecting with people and speaking the Word of God in a way that builds trust and closeness. Pastor Chris stands firmly on God’s Word, lifting up Christ as our only hope for salvation, endeavoring to reach the lost, and in love strives together with the church to live out discipleship. Pastor Chris has been married to his wife Erin for over 20 years and they have been blessed with three wonderful children.

Brad and Asami Shook, Youth Ministry
Brad and Asami Shook have been a tremendous blessing to CLBC. Watching God lead them to take a leadership role in our church has truly been inspiring. They are passionate about their love for the Lord and serving Him in leading our student ministry. They do a great job connecting with the teens while unpacking God’s Word on a level that impacts the whole group. Brad and Asami have a beautiful family and we are so thankful for all they do.

PRAYER REQUESTS
Our church is a body of believers who believes that prayer is a powerful tool through which we can boldly approach the throne of God. Prayer is not just a list of demands we give to God, but an intimate conversation between a believer and the Savior. Prayer is not only us telling God our needs, but even more importantly it is us being still and listening to His direction. Come join us each Wednesday as our church has a separate time of prayer and Bible Study.
